Sahand NourMohammadZadeh

Sahand NourMohammadZadeh was arrested during a protest against the Islamic Republic of Iran. On the 7th of November, they took him to a circus the regime calls ‘court’, which was held behind closed doors. The regime says he is accused of something called “corruption on earth”, which is a label Islamists have invented for those they intend to kill. The regime, using traffic cameras, has captured a video of a protester who using guard rails, blocks a street. And they want to send a message to the Iranian people, that if they dare to even block a street, the regime will murder them in cold blood. The video is actually grainy and it is not obvious who is in it. But that does not matter for the regime agents. They have a noose and they need a neck for it. And Sahand, being a body-building champion, seems to fit the description of the kind of person they want to murder to scare the Iranian society.

Sahand is kept in Fashafooyeh prison and has been brutally tortured. He told his parents that one of the methods his interrogators used to torture him was to blindfold him and do mock executions. The level of inhumanity that might be unimaginable for many humans living on this planet, but is and has been frequently used by the Islamic regime in Iran.
